The HipHopHeads Podcast: Bonus Episode (GZA/Genius Harvard Lecture)

The GZA has been in Boston the past fews days visiting the most elite schools in the country picking scientists and other genius brains. The other day he stopped by Harvard University and gave a lecture for the Black Mens Forum and basically told the story of his life. The Crypt was in the place to be and we we’re taking video which was prohibited…. Sadly our video was shot basically at the wall but I was able to extract the audio for your listening pleasure. I wasnt able to catch the whole thing but I got about 30 mins of the event. It was a really cool event and it was really nice to hear the story of the GZA from the GZA.

Recently someone requested that I re-up my GZA/Genius Harvard Lecture, I really had trouble tracking this down via my own files but thankfully some friends specifically Claaa7 from Wu-Tang Corp/claaa7 blogspot came through with the assist as they saved my OG upload, salute! You can download the OG file and see the OG post HERE. You can listen to this episode on any podcast app, please subscribe, rate, comment.

The HipHopHeads Podcast: Episode 5 (Boston Hip-Hop)

www.thecryptonline.com Presents: The HipHopHeads Podcast (Episode 5: Boston HipHop)
Todays Episode has us showing love to some Boston MC’s, producers, and creators. We take a ride around the little state of Massachusetts, giving love to some artists we’ve been really enjoying as of late. Boston has been putting out great music for years that seemingly goes unnoticed outside the city or ironically gets love everywhere but our city. Strange, I know. But its about time this Boston based Podcast dedicated an episode to the bay state.

Don Def – The Break of Don

dondef
My man Don Def just put out his new album called The Break of Don and its a banger. I’ve showcased Don Def in the past under the name of Devamps which we helped push his debut and even hosted a website for the guy. He puts in work, producing and rhyming on every track on the album with some help from King Swift and Franky Needles on the cuts. Give it a listen and support Don Def. Boston.

Raekwon’s OB4CL2 vs Inspectah Deck and 7L/Esoteric CZARFACE

I was requested to start video blogging, I’ll be doing retrospective, verses and album reviews and anything else I can manage to get in. This will act as a companion piece to The HipHopHeads Podcast. In my opinion the best 2 Wu-Tang releases since Supreme Clientele have been OB4CL2 and CZARFACE. In This video I debate with myself on which was the better release? Which do you think was better?
