That shit was dope. I remember that Daigo battle like it was yesterday. Me and my cousin would talk about it all the time back when we wanted to open an arcade.

well, the original Street Fighter came out in '87 - which would make the series 26 years old. Street Fighter II came out in '91, making it 22 years old. So, this doc is either a year late or 3 years early depending on how you look at it.

I remember playing the original Street Fighter in the local arcade. Shit had pressure sensitive buttons, so the harder you hit, the harder Ryu would hit. Kind of sucked. They nailed it with SFII though, introducing the 6 button control scheme, intuitive special moves and fluid combos.

No other fighter has come close as far as I'm concerned.

I only ever used the hard punch and hard kick anyways. lol
